My sony vaio Laptop Battery is not charging when it’s plugged in from a power source. What should i do to fix?

i have a sony vaio laptop – 2.5 years aged as well as when i block in a wire from a energy source it says which a mechanism is using upon AC power, as well as when i take a energy source out, a laptop rught away shuts down. Does this meant which my battery is broken?
it’s customarily been function recently, customarily when i take a wire out of my laptop i have about 1-1.5 hours of battery hold up

any assistance is severely appreciated

Chances are the battery has died. They do have a finite number of charge cycles and with the age it could well have reached its limit. You could try to get a new battery or just run it on the AC. Good luck

the batteries only last for so long like normal batteries… u mya have a fried wire/cable…. ur circuit might be out… u might have a bad battery pack
