The HP Mini-Note 2133 is better looking and feels more solidly constructed than almost any other netbook. The only drawback to the 2133 is its use of the VIA C7 processor, most commonly the 1.2GHz model. Most competitors, even the new HP Mini 1000, use the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 which blows any VIA processor into the weeds!
If you can tolerate the performance of the VIA, the 2133 has the best keyboard in the business. It also has a higher resolution display than all of its competitors- 1280×768 (almost identical to a full size 15.4″ laptop) but all other netbooks have a 1024×600 resolution display.
If you haven’t seen the new HP Mini 1000 (just introduced in the last week), it’s worth a look. It has the same overall shape as the 2133, but the 1000 is made of black plastic instead of the 2133′s aluminum casing. The fantastic keyboard from the 2133 (92% of a regular laptop keyboard in size) carries over the 100 also.
The Mini 1000 starts at $399 and has already been highly rated by several tech magazines and websites. See links below for more info-
