It needs to be a &quot;dedicated&quot; graphics setup in order to swap graphics cards. secondly you could try something called GMA booster. The GMA booster offers up to 2.4x of extra processing power for Your computer&#039;s integrated graphics engine. This may help in playing better games. 

I personally wouldn&#039;t invest in an external card, because they are expensive and again your nebook&#039;s configuration of ram, cpu speed, etc aren&#039;t able to keep up with more high end games.</description>

You can&#039;t easily upgrade the video card in any laptop, especially a netbook. I wouldn&#039;t try it unless I were a professional, which it sounds like you really aren&#039;t. You could try to get a video card for your netbook, but it likely isn&#039;t going to fit in the space for a video card, if there even is a slot for one.</description>
