Hello,
I not long ago paid for a Sony Vaio laptop in a US as well as am starting to move it with me to Sweden this summer. The family we am staying with has dual table tip computers as well as dual laptops, so we am guessing which they have a router. Does it work to bond a Sony Vaio to a internet over in Scandinavia or would we need to buy a little kind of adapter or something? Or would we only simply need to bond wiressly only similar to we do here?
Thanks! ![]()
You need to check the power adapter for the laptop and make sure it will handle both US and European voltages. It’s usually on the black box that connects the power cables. It should say something like "Input 100-240v", almost all newer laptops have this capability. If it says 110v only, you will need to buy a power converter.

You will at least need a plug adapter though. The plugs in Sweden look like two round pins. You can ask at any electronics store for a European adapter, mine looks like this:

The internet works the same, you can either plug in the cable or use wireless.
