How do we shift a credentials upon my netbook?
I can’t appear to figure out how to shift my desktop credentials upon my netbook. Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks,

You probably have Windows 7 Starter installed on your netbook. This version of Windows 7 doesn’t have any personalization options and therefore you cannot change the background without upgrading the Windows version.
Im assuming you are running windows 7 starter edition. Unfortunately Microsoft decided that self expression shouldn’t be allowed on netbooks. I have 2 netbooks and both have same background. I think there are some websites out there that can manipulate the code but I’ve tried that before and right after I restarted the computer, screen went blank. Only way to do it properly is to upgrade windows.
well It doesnt let you change it but you can download a program for it. Its called oceanis change background w7 here is the link to download it http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/47294-desktop-background-change-windows-7-starter.html I used it to put a Nicki Minaj picture as my background
You probably have the Windows 7 Starter edition. Desktop customization is disabled in the Starter edition.
However, if you have an Asus EeePC netbook, they have a free program designed especially for their netbook models that comes with Win 7 Starter. It’s called ‘SystemSetting_Setup-1_1_0_8′.
If you don’t have an Asus, there are third-party applications that you can use. One example is Stardock.com. See the references below.
Totally agree with Cooper. Oceanis is a great little program. Small, unintrusive, and gives you freedom to change your background. Easy to install.
