Now, if you click on the Fedora, which your version of Linux is based on (Limpus Linux) you are shown a Wiki on how to install aMSN... which *should* install the newest version.

However, you should be able to update aMSN with your package manager.  Run it, it should detect the update, and it should install it automatically.

Otherwise, just go into the aMSN options, and disable update notification.  If it works, don&#039;t fix it.
