Hi,
I only purchased the brand new Acer Aspire One with XP (rather than Linux). we have Microsoft Office for Home as well as School with the permit for 3 computers so would similar to to put Office upon to the Acer.
However the Acer does not have an outmost CD rom – is there the approach we can do this easily?
Thanks,
Karenne

you have to buy the software first or download it illegal from the internet
Copy the contents of the CD onto a USB thumb drive, or a flash diskette. Install from that
Put the set up onto another computer and USB pendrive it and put it on your laptop, it shouldn’t need an external cd rom if it has an internal or is it like a notebook with neither?
You could do it with a fire wire which connects to another computer then to your laptop?
if you can’t do it.. theirs a free just as good software for download @
