How do we speed up a Acer Emachines eM250-01G16i Netbook?
I not long ago got this netbook as well as commissioned windows 7 in it (and we haven’t done any kind of modifications, it’s a specs which have been upon a box). But it’s kind of laggy even with only peep games as well as youtube. Is there a approach to repair this? Should we ascent a video label (if it’s even possible) or a ram?

Really conclude any assistance as well as input. Thank you!

Could be a windows problem. So try reinstalling a windows. You should have a pre-installation of Windows in your computer. Look upon a web how to entrance it!

Hope it helps.

There are 2 suggestions to question “How do you speed up a Acer Emachines eM250-01G16i Netbook?”

  1. its a netbook… small and not that powerful… there all built in with the chipsets and ram… MAYBE you could change the ram for better ram, but itd probly be hard.

Most netbooks use a Intel ATOM processor which is a single processor running at usually 1.3gz. which isnt very fast. have u conitered it to be a bad internet connection?

  2. most netbooks can be upgraded to 2gb of ram, including the acer aspire one series, dunno about the acer emachine. on the aspire ones theres a panel that you remove one screw, take out the 1gb and pop in a 2gb, but on yours, maybe be the same may not. granted the first gen acers 8 inch model had a 512 stick and 512 sodered into the motherboard and had to dismantle the machine to upgrade the stick, but the newer models are much easier. just check the acer website or forums to see if your machine actually does support 2gbs. or buy it, put it in and see what happens. if it doesnt then just return it.

and your atom processors are 1.6 or 1.66 ghz, not 1.3, that guy is on crack. XD. graphics card though, pretty much out of luck. thats all set and done. as far as youtube, let the video load all the way before hitting play, and make sure youre not watching it in hd, keep it on standard def. having it on hd will by far make the video choppy and laggy. there are a few netbooks that have hd screens though.

remember though, these arent media machines, just basic internet browsing, word documents, video chatting. dont get your hopes up =/
