Are you adding extra ram or changimg the motherbord their is a big diffference in price.
Adding extra ram would cost you (i quess) 100 dollars.
And would be easy to install.
Make sure the extra ram if the same type as the ram in the computer.
You can’t upgrade your RAM higher than the motherboard’s maximum specification. If you do you could end up with serious problems.
As someone said go to Crucial’s site, put all the details in and it will tell you the maximum you can have for that particular board!
