i have the sony vaio vgn-ax570g with the tiny small symbol in the center of the keyboard. i wish to invalidate it. it role was to pierce the rodent as well as with the light tap, it left clicked. i do not wish it to click incidentally when i type, so i wish to invalidate it. interjection in advance

if you are funning XP do this:
Click start
Click control panel
Click printers and other hardware
Click Mouse
and in there there should be an option for the stick/eraser mouse – you should be able to shut it off there.
