How well would this run for world of warcraft?

I am foolish with computers so i need an answer that i will understand. we am removing a 10.7 in. laptop for christmas, as well as am meditative about removing WOW. It is a samsung NC10. As distant as i am wakeful it has 1gb memory, as well as 160gb tough drive. However i am removing an one more supplement upon tough expostulate that will supplement 320 gb of tough drive. Again, as distant as i can discuss it i consider it has 1gb RAM, though i have looked as well as i can ascent it to 2gb of RAM. we have no thought what RAM is btw lol. Would 1gb of RAM be nough for universe of warcraft, as well as additionally would all of these facilities for a laptop be means to run it. we am upon talktalk internet, as well as i dont know what a video label is for a laptop :/ . Many thanks.

    Suggestions:
  1. Your PC will be able to handle WoW fine!

WoW does require broadband internet though. You most likely have something like this or better (as no-one has dial-up anymore lol)
You have MORE than enough space on your HDD. I think you only need 10gb or so.

The exact system requirements are as follows (which you meet):

OS: Windows XP / Windows Vista (with latest Service Packs)

    Processor:

Minimum: Intel Pentium 4 1.3 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1500+
Recommended: Dual-core processor, such as the Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 X2

    Memory:

Minimum: 512 MB RAM (1GB for Vista users)
Recommended: 1 GB RAM (2 GB for Vista users)

    Video:

Minimum: 3D graphics processor with Hardware Transform and Lighting with 32 MB VRAM Such as an ATI Radeon 7200 or NVIDIA GeForce 2 class card or better
Recommended: 3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with 128 MB VRAM Such as an ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT class card or better

Sound: DirectX-compatible sound card or motherboard sound capability

  2. Nope, you need 2GB RAM for it. RAM is where you computer stores information you are currently using in laymans terms.. In WOW example, it will store the world and characters currently around you. SHould be ok to run WOW if you upgrade to 2 GB, if you turn all the graphics settings down.

  3. I’ve looked into your Samsung NC10 aka a netbook. Problem is that no one will tell you is the fact that you may of passed system requirements to RUN (keyword) World of Warcraft but you will still have trouble playing with constant lag from the CPU and IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor)

I have an Acer laptop that passes the system requirements but I still receive enourmous amounts of video lag becasue I too have an IGP on my motherboard.

Your netbook was used for only one thing: surfing the internet and listen to music. Upgrading the hard drive and memory would never fix the problem nor waste your $500. Good luck.

  4. Netbooks are not meant to play games like WoW. They are optimized for battery life and low costs, sacrificing processing power.

You meet the specs, barely (mostly- graphics might even be too low); however, you will not be able to run it with any extras and at lowest settings, if at all. Get a ‘gaming laptop’ to have at least a better graphics card (takes some strain off the CPU) and it might be worth a shot, though really a desktop is what should be used for playing games.

  5. go to the canurunit website and try it out there

  6. no i think it will be fine, wow usually runs fine on the lowest of computers…and buds you can use dial up as well…because i know many people including myself that has or does use dial up, and i know someone using a Windows 1995 computer with dial up. looks the same as on high speed
