is a single faster than a other? what have been a pros/cons of each. Other than a viewable distance difference, that is better? Size is not as well critical as we will only be surfing a web, as well as spasmodic typing category records upon it. we make use of my ride expostulate alot anyway. Can MS Office be commissioned upon either?
it comes installed with XP, so it won’t take up as most space, or be as fatiguing as Vista

Speedwise, SSDs tend to be about the same. One thing SSDs are not as prone to is speed reduction through fragmentation. They can be optimized by defragmenting, but over time it won’t degrade as fast as the 60GB standard hd. Much faster boot times as well, and they are more sturdy (you can drop your laptop from a higher distance without damaging the hard drive since there are no moving parts.)
My own personal opinion, I would only get a SSD in my computer if it were at least 64GB. If you’re getting this with Vista on it, most of the hard drive will already be occupied by Vista and won’t leave much room for many programs later on.
The SSD is brand new technology, very top-of-the-line. The 4200 rpm hard drive is extremely slow, it will slow down your whole computer.
If size doesn’t matter, definitely get the SSD.
