I Accidentally Deleted The Recovery Partition On My Sony Vaio Laptop. How Can I Get It Back ?

well i incidentally deleted the complete liberation assign upon my sony vaio laptop. we am left with the default C: expostulate with my o/s – windows xp left on. However the alternative assign upon the tough expostulate was deleted. Is there any way to get it behind but remuneration ? such as the giveaway program ?

    Suggestions:
  1. Nope, it is gone for good.

  2. no you need to get another copy of the image/files for the recovery partition, unless you know anyone with the same model, going via sony is probably the only way

  3. It is easy to get it back. Don’t listen to the "unsmart" people who posted before me. I hope you deleted it not too long ago though. Use this tutorial http://partiitontable.blogspot.com/ But this will only work if the space where the recovery partition was is unallocated, meaning not part of the C partition. Is it? Well if it is then you have to shrink your c partition and leave space equal or more to the space that the recovery partition took before you deleted it, and then follow the tutorial.
To shrink the partition try this http://discoverwindows.googlepages.com/partition_hard_drive.html If you are able to get free/unallocated space more than or equal to the recovery partition, then DestDisk will be able to restore your rec. partition. If the free space you get is less than the size of the rec. partition then it won’t work

You may leave a comment after you try the tutorial since it was actually posted by me.
