I need to hookup my aged laptop to an ethernet jack though do not have a ethernet in my computer. we have USB, as well as now make use of which to hookup to a internet. Is their a device which we can block in an ethernet jack in to it as well as block a device in to my USB? Please help, as well as how most will such a tool cost/is it accessible in Best Buy? Thanks a million.
…I’ve got a wireless label though a place where we will be relocating won’t have wireless for a prolonged time, we need a device genuine quick.
Your best option is to buy an Ethernet PCMCIA card. Ask the IT guys at Best Buy, they should know.
buy a Wireless card …
Yes… you can get an ethernet adapter that plugs into the USB port and into your ethernet switch. You can also purchase a wireless ethernet adapter to plug in to USB. These devices will cost about the same or a little more than regular ethernet adapters that you would use in your PC.
A PC card style ethernet adapter will also work very well for you. Just be selective with those devices as some designs are more easily broken than others.
My recommendation is that you get the kind that takes up two PC card slots because there are no little moving parts and pieces that will snap off.
get one of these:

You should have a PCMCIA slot on the laptop, just pick up an ethernet card & cable. They’re fairly cheap these days. D-Link makes one, Best Buy should have them.
youll have to buy an adapter for your usb port or you can get a wireless card
