Hi,
This is because you never extracted the files out of the .zip folder. I had the same problem, the relised.
I don’t see why you would need it for a desktop since it’s much easier just to do it via a CD o_O
Trying this with the same HW as described got the exact same 8GB SSD aspire and a kingston data trav. 1GB I transfeded my XP PRO to the bootable USB successfully.
Changed the bootpriority and all ok.
PROBLEM:
When windows is initially installing
after about 40 sec. I get the bluescreen
“a problem has been detected and windows…blabla…
RUN CHKDSK/F
- What to do ?
thx
thanx man you are best

Hi,
I’ve tried this on the 120GB version (A150L)and this hasn’t worked. I get to the point of running the setup from the USB drive and then get a BSOD when XP setup tries to “Setup is starting Windows”.
The USB drive is created properly but I’ve tried all option at boot but no luck. I’m not a techie so any help would be appreciated?
Thanks,
How did you get the XP slim version?
Hi, great video, I managed to do an nLited install with it (another guide I tried only worked for my retail version of XP).
