    This is because you never extracted the files out of the .zip folder. I had the same problem, the relised.

  7. I don’t see why you would need it for a desktop since it’s much easier just to do it via a CD o_O

  8. Trying this with the same HW as described got the exact same 8GB SSD aspire and a kingston data trav. 1GB I transfeded my XP PRO to the bootable USB successfully.

    Changed the bootpriority and all ok.

    PROBLEM:
    When windows is initially installing

    after about 40 sec. I get the bluescreen :(
    “a problem has been detected and windows…blabla…

    RUN CHKDSK/F

    - What to do ?

  14. hi i get an error when pressing 1.inf file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing status 18.can anybody help please.i can boot up windows xp on hp 2133 with freecom usb in but once i take it out then it wont work.?????

    I’ve tried this on the 120GB version (A150L)and this hasn’t worked. I get to the point of running the setup from the USB drive and then get a BSOD when XP setup tries to “Setup is starting Windows”.
    The USB drive is created properly but I’ve tried all option at boot but no luck. I’m not a techie so any help would be appreciated?

  20. Hi, great video, I managed to do an nLited install with it (another guide I tried only worked for my retail version of XP).

    The only problem left is that annoying screen at start up where you have to select “XP pro” or “USB repair”. Does anyone know how to bypass that?
