Is it cheaper to purchase a MacBook online or in store?

I’m starting to buy a MacBook 13-inch (White), 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, iWork, AppleCare Protection Plan for MacBook Air/MacBook – Auto-enroll, as well as iPod touch, 8GB.
The sum is ,752.00 not together with tax.

Will it be cheaper to buy it in a store which has a sale taxation of 8.5% or online? Or is a cost a same?

There are 2 suggestions to question “Is it cheaper to purchase a MacBook online or in store?”

  1. If you buy your computer at Best Buy, the Geek Squad will sell you the same plan than that also includes accidental damage. If you don’t like it, you can just cancel it and buy the Apple Care protection plan. Apple also offers greater time to return your computer if you want to. These are two other factors you should consider. Also consider purchasing additional RAM. If you believe you will need it, you will save money by buying it as part of your new computer.

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro from Best Buy. But the choice is a personal choice. If you can get a model that is going out, the retail stores will generally sell it for a significant discount. I got mine for $500 off with the Geek Squad 3 year plan with accidental damage

  2. First thing to Apple computers is that the MSRP is what you’ll pay. Even the refurbs have very meagre savings. Thus, buy online and avoid paying into the government’s coffers to save 8.5%.
