I unequivocally unequivocally unequivocally wish the single of those lovable small dell netbook thingos for christmas, though we adore my sims so most we dont wish to leave them behind. we do not consider the netbooks have the cd drive, though is there any approach we can get the single combined upon or an additional approach we can implement the games but regulating the cd? Maybe duplicate them from the family laptop as well as make use of the usb or something? Any mechanism geniuses out there?

The problem is that a netbook doesn’t really have the power to run more than maybe the base game w/o custom content or mods, if it would run it worth playing, or at all. You’re much better off getting a smaller laptop. It wont’ be tiny cute, but it won’t be huge and it will run The Sims 2 with all you neighborhoods and CC and mods without much trouble. Only thing that netbooks are really good for is the net, obviously, and your basic office apps. and being more portable. They don’t game…

check the specs on your new laptop to make sure your game will play.
then put your sims disks in the present pc and stop the installation.
click on .my computer then right click on the disk drive and left click on explore.
copy the files to a pen drive
put pen drive into new pc and click on install.
when its installed change the file name(add a 1 on it)
when thats done
copy your exsisting game files to the pen drive then paste them into the game
then delete the file you put a 1 on and it should be ready to play.
thats the theory im sure someone will let you know if its not possible
