I not long ago purchased a Macbook Pro as well as a 3 years AppleCare insurance plan. But a man who assisted me did not give me a AppleCare box. The tiny white a single with a red apple upon it. Is a box required to get my 3 year guaranty as well as take a benefits of a AppleCare insurance plan? we still have my taking which shows i paid for AppleCare. Should we call Apple? The man told me which we was already "registered" when i asked for a box.. But I’m wondering because he did not give it to me.. Did he take it? =O
Thanks!

That is kind of weird. But you don’t NEED the box.
If you have the receipt for your AppleCare and the serial number for your computer (maybe the receipt too) call Apple Care. 1-800-275-2273 – (1-800-APL-CARE). It should also be on your receipt.
You can check with them that your warranty is activated. They can do this with the Apple Care number and your serial code -they can also look up the receipt if you have the receipt number. I had to do this because I lost my box.
You really don’t need the box at all – but I would double check that you do indeed have Apple Care activated. If you don’t – they will activate it for you.
