My L button does not work on my sony VAIO Laptop due to beer being spiLt on it, can this be fixed?

My "L" symbol does not work upon my sony VAIO Laptop due to drink being spiLt upon it, can this be fixed?

Suggestions:


1. Maybe. In either case you can replace the keyboard. Find instructions for your specific laptop before attempting and make sure you get the correct model number (Check the manufactures web site)

   But, first, try this. Gently pry the key off, but be careful as they’re held on by small plastic clamps that can break easily. Then put it back on, making sure to get it to snap in properly.

2. Sorry but only with a new keyboard….they are an all in one unit. cost maybe £80 fitted

3. Cant be fixed.

   You broke the hardware of the keyboard therefore you need a new keyboard.
