My Sony Vaio Laptop was shut fairly hard, and now reads Operating System Not Found?

The shade was close flattering tough as well as right away on begin up it displays the primary Sony Vaio startup trademark though afterwards it goes to the black shade as well as reads Operating complement not found. Could this be an emanate where the hard-drive was only mixed lax or is it an denote which the tough expostulate is essentially damaged? Is this the do-it-yourselfer correct or do we need to take it in to an expert?

There are 2 suggestions to question “My Sony Vaio Laptop was shut fairly hard, and now reads Operating System Not Found?”

  1. Step one
turn on the computer and press repeteadly the key f10 // this should boot into the hidden sony partiotion

use the program "rescue data" to backup ur information
use the program restore c drive to reinstall windows

    ***********************

If that doesnt work u will need service.

  2. You can do it yourself first thing is to try and hear if the hard drive is damaged if it is making sounds like rattling it will need to be replaced, if not try to pull it out then install, if this does not work and you have a recovery disk try using it.
If all of this does not work you can replace the hard drive.
