In a past integrate of weeks, it has been unequivocally noisy. After being upon for an hour or so, it starts creation a sound similar to it is running. we can usually proportion it to a CD burning. There are 2 suggestions to question “My Sony Vaio laptop, which is a year and a half old, has started making a lot of noise. What is wrong?”

  1. probably your CPU or video adapter fans working overtime to try to cool it. Make sure you never leave the laptop on a soft surface, like the couch or carpet, as the ventilation holes will get blocked and it will overheat. You can also buy a base for it that has built-in extra fans to keep it cool, check your local computer store.

  2. The fan(s) are most likely wore, restarting the laptop momentarily stops it and that starts spinning again, and possibly quieter. Only a few things spin inside your laptop, and if its not the fan, could be the HDD, but most likely its the fan.
