It’s changing video mode. Mine does that too. Nothing to worry about as far as I know. Unless it didn’t used to, and now does. Or unless you get nothing after the black screen either. It’s hard to tell for sure.
Try changing the batteries.
Inadequate memory, not enough capacity to read, memory volume low, unable to read and remove junk files
can you go to safe mode? if yes please check your video card drivers, monitor properties like refresh rate of monitor.
also check from your BIOS that you have enabled enough memory (if shared from RAM) to your video card.
Did you add additional RAM? Sony VAIOs have a history of bad connections with the additional RAM connections. Turn it off, unplug it, remove the battery, ground yourself, remove the additonal RAM and reinsert it making sure you hear it click. Hook it up and try it again.
put a monitor to your vaio and power it on if it works then you have a bad lcd but if it’s the same most probably a video card issue bring it to the shop. vaio sucks
Seriously all you have to do is replace the backlight for the lcd or before that check to see if there are faulty or lose wires. Get a screwdriver and undo the Visual display unit and put it back see if that helps.
