thank we really much!

I would stay as far away from it as I can! I repair PCs and have had at least 5 aspire ones in the shop in the last month and a half. 2 had bad motherboards, 3 had displays go bad.
>people have been telling me some netbooks that you need to go to an atenna and set it up or something?
You cannot attach an antenna onto a netbook. It has a built in antenna.
The closer you are to the wireless access point, the better your chances. Wireless G signals tend to work better in enclosed areas where radio signals can "bounce", in outdoor areas they dissipate.
The opposite occurs with Wireless N signals — it dissipates quickly when it has to pass thru walls and obstacles, but excels in outdoor areas where there is line of sight.
The type of wireless format you receive depends on what router or access point they are using. Most places still only use a Wireless G router, so range is limited to about 30 meters or so.
>is the connection as strong as a laptop?
>can this netbook download songs from limerwire
Yes and Yes.
I have the acer aspire one 8.9" and it picks up the wireless very well, just as well as my laptop and desktop.
I only use in the house though, so I can`t comment on the other aspect of your question.
It`s an excellent little netbook and can do the other things you mention.
I am not sure how good the wireless is on the netbook, but if you are worried so long as you have a USB port you can buy a USB wireless network card with a strong antenna. Alfa makes some good, cheap and really powerful wireless cards that can can connect to your computer using a USB port.
