i am perplexing to bond my mac mini to my laptop (toshiba using windows xp) with an apple airfield bottom station. what else do i need to get an internet tie to a laptop????

You’ll need a wireless card and the wireless network name and password to connect using wireless, or you can connect the laptop’s Ethernet port to the AirPort’s LAN port (<–>) to go wired.
Once you have that going, you’ll need to turn on file sharing (and possibly open the software wirewall a bit) in at least one of the computers so you can sign in from the other one.
