I have Ubuntu 10.04 LTS upon a Dell Adamo thirteen as well as have beheld which a receptive to advice doesn’t work with my headphones. The receptive to advice functions ideally excellent though a headphones in, though without, nothing. How can we redress this? Thanks.

Since you have sound to speakers, but not headphones, it’s not a driver or sound card problem.
It’s the haedphone socket itself or the connection to the headphone socket…..
