Notebooks and World of Warcraft?

Is it probable to fool around universe of warcraft upon the samsung nc10 notebook?

    Suggestions:
  1. Sure,it is useful when you are playing WOW,get to know much more about the WOW,you can just go to http://www.usfine.com to have a look!

  2. I would say so. WoW has rediculously low requirements so it can run on nearly any machine made in the last 5 years.
As far as how well that might differ.

  3. Netbooks are not designed to play games. The processor is relatively slwo, the memory is low, and the graphics chip does not have all the features a full-fledged video card would. If it does play at all, it will be quite slow. These system are set up with long battery life in mind, not playing games.

If it plays it at all, it will be rather slow. If you want gaming, go for a better laptop, not a netbook, or better yet, use a PC.

  4. A person asked this question regarding the same issue with the Samsung NC10. My answer is the same..its a netbook and they are not designed for gaming whatsoever.

CNET reviewed this laptop with the same answer:

With Intel’s 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, specifically designed for low-power Netbooks, you get enough computing power for the basic tasks–Web surfing, working on documents, and some basic multimedia playback"

keyword ‘BASIC’. The $500 wouldn’t justified your wasted money if you are indeed playing WoW on this. You would have to spend more and always consult someone knowledgeable of laptops/pcs before you make a decsion on buying.

If you would like you can e-mail me for any adivce on a great laptop. Please provide the website of purchasing first hand. Goodluck.

  5. yes definitely, i have a little acer, and its old, and wow works like a dream lol

  6. I’ve built myself a custom computer using higher-end video cards and a processor that I would say is "too big" for the size of the computer. However, I have it set up so I move my character with my mouse and all the actions of my character are touch-activated. It’s incredibly effective.

With a standard-quality notebook (Like your NC10), however, I wouldn’t say it’s quite possible. I specifically went out of the way to make sure this computer worked like a dream (I spent almost a year’s paycheck on it – about $4,000 a year ago). On a standard computer, you’ll be lacking RAM, processing power, and if it’s playable at all it will be very, very slow.

But, if you’re like me and don’t mind spending a few thousand for it (heck, it may be only a few hundred nowadays), then do it!
