Affordable? Go with the Dell. Macs are overrated and overpriced for their specs.
The Adamo is one of the cheapest and slowest laptops on the market. It’s processor only operates at 1.4 GHz and in todays world that is far less than any average pc. Most laptops in a similar price range have a processor that run about 2.1 GHz to 2.4 GHz.
In my opinion, if you are looking for a laptop that will last you a number of years as far as technology is concerned then pass on the Adamo.
In respect to the Macbook Pro. I haven’t looked at it, so I can’t offer an opinion.
Try this. Go in to a Best Buy to the computer department. Don’t bring money and don’t bring a credit card. Go to get some info and nothing more. Speak with one of the Tech’s and have him "educate" you on laptops and what makes them "tick". Once you do that and you understand laptops a little better, then go online and look at the Dell’s, the HP’s, the Mac’s, etc. and look for the most computer that you can buy for the money you are willing to spend.
