I have a Gateway ML6732. You can buy them on ebay new or used for around 300-400$. It’s really great, it was about 700$ a year ago when I bought it but the price has gone down some.
It has 4GB of ram, 320GB 5400 RPM HD, and a 1.73HNz processor.
It’s a great laptop and runs very fast. It’s not a gaming laptop so it can’t run any big games, if you’re into that. But for anything else, it’s perfect.
I think Sony Viao laptops comes in this range to get the info about it.
