The best for damn sure won’t be the cheapest.If you want the best one, go for something like this:

get an ACER. The only drawback is the battery life is less than most.
the advantage is that the battery will not burst into flame like the HP.

you can get a really nice netbook for just under $300.

you can get a KICK ASS 64 bit notebook for under $500.

Go to Newegg.com or Tigerdirect.com to get really low prices on these computers.

Cyrus works for dell.. Of course he would be suggesting a Vendor thats had the worst Customer support in the world. Literally cause they Outsource all there stuff.

Don’t buy a dell… You should think to yourself How much you want to pay…. 400-500 isn’t gonna get u much won’t last for very long…
Walmart… is the way to go for those…
Acer… = is a decent brand in the crap cash catagory.

An All around good laptop is HP/Compaq A great brand with a bigger price is Asus…
Sony =buying the name they ain’t great they are just decent. with a name.

Netbooks don’t run Ms Word or Powerpoint very well..
they are called Netbooks for that exact reason.
Email and the Internet.

Look for Laptops that have at least 2GB’s ram and a Core 2 DUO Or Turion X2
If you buy anything less you will be sorry in a year.
