How would I go about getting a replacement screen for my laptop? Your blog looks relevant so I thought I’de ask you.

Laptop LCD’s can look the same however be different so checking everything out first to insure what you purchase is the same/compatible is important.

Changing out the LCD is not a major project however may cost a bit having someone do it. Be careful they don’t try to blowup the LCD exchange to something overwhelming. (Easily less than an hour (15-30 min) – If they know what they are doing).

Take it to a professional you can get the screen at ebay for sure

Ebay has screens all the time. Just type in your model number and screen and you should find one fairly cheap there.

You will have to purchase it from Sony. While it was made in another country, Sony is where you will have to go. If you take it to a local shop, they will do the same.

Ebay is the cheapest, if you do not want to put it in yourself, buy it from online then take it to a professional and it will be cheaper than them buying the part.
