Why does my laptop wait for 20 minutes before BEGINNING to start-up?

I have a samsung NC10 netbook using XP. When we spin it upon a energy light comes on, though that’s it. The tough expostulate doesn’t flog in as well as zero happens during all. Then, as if by magic, something happens after about twenty mins as well as it unexpected starts starting up. The start-up routine is excellent (only a integrate of mins). What’s starting on??? The mechanism seems excellent in each alternative respect. I’ve searched google as well as there’s no pointer of an answer. Please do not discuss it me it’s anything to do with a handling complement or software, as a complaint occurs BEFORE it even gets to this stage! Any recommendation appreciated.

There are 2 suggestions to question “Why does my laptop wait for 20 minutes before BEGINNING to start-up?”

  1. Maybe you have too many files stored on it. Might want to consider cleaning up you hard disk, that may accelerate the start up.

  2. Obviously you don’t understand anything about computers. when you say " Please don’t tell me it’s anything to do with the operating system or software, as the problem occurs BEFORE it even gets to this stage!’

the easiest way to explain this is, a book has a contents page this tells the reader about the book Introduction, Chapters, pages and so forth. It’s the same with a computer it’s contents page is the
    (1) Bios (Basic Input Output Systems) the computers hardware setup
    (2) The MBR (Master Boot Record), this tells the computer what to boot up (Hardware, Operating System, Application Software)

When a computer fails to boot up like so many Windows systems do, that is because the MBR or windows File.sys is corrupt and the computer can’t find the instructions to boot it up,

This is a need to know for you, please take note and act on it, Windows was NEVER developed for the netbook/notebook systems Microsoft have pulled a fast one, they have conned the consumer public, They don’t want to loose their monopoly of the home computer market

The Operating system that is developed for the Netbook/Notebook systems is fast, secure, stable, it doesn’t crash or freeze, it doesn’t get windows viruses, malware, spyware. It’s free with all the software you will ever need, it’s up to date, 2010, It can be run from a Jump drive or cd disk without installing it on the hard drive This means if the hard drive goes down you can boot the system up from a jump drive/cd and get on with what you normally do with out any problems

It boots up in 20 seconds, your on the net in 30 seconds from pressing the power on button, if this is what yo want, then look into the alternative operating systems for the Netbook/Notebook systems. There are several to choose from the best are as follows
Ubuntu Remix for the Netbook click on the link to download
