windows 7 iso editing?

so: i have an archos 9 tablet.
i found an edited chronicle of windows 7 which i unequivocally similar to though it is blank 2 critical functions:
most drivers as good as a inscription pc functions, creation a A9…well radically a inscription but a touchscreen.
since i have a duplicate of a strange windows 7 iso i was wondering if there was a way, with programs similar to vlite to revise a nude chronicle of widows 7 as good as to supplement a blank options.
hope i was clear. interjection in advance!

There are 2 suggestions to question “windows 7 iso editing?”

  1. see this is the problem with Windows. even you, just editing the ISO (that you legally own) is technically illegal. since the EULA doesn’t say anything about you having the right to do any of that. not to mention Microsoft likes to use proprietary formats for basically everything. making modification so much harder if at all possible to average computer users (and by average i mean, people who don’t have access to a fair sized Beowulf cluster, to be used to brute force any encryption algorithms and such.)

long story short, you should try putting GNU/Linux on that bad boy. it will be so much easier for you to configure, and will run swimmingly despite the system resources of an embedded device.
plus, since the Archos is a fairly popular device i’m sure there will be a distro out their for you already made. or at least with much less DIY, unless you want to that is.

  2. Vlite and RT 7 Lite and such can remove functions but not add them.

If you want to add functions you will need to get the original Windows 7 ISO/DVD and use RT 7 Lite (I prefer this to Vlite) to take out all the functions except the ones that you need.
